Flag Football Ends Season

    The Flag Football Team ended their season Wednesday, (11/20/24) at Thompson-Reynolds Stadium. After going 20-2 through 2 rounds of the play-offs, Spain Park was just too much for the Rebels to handle. The Jaguars came into the game with revenge on their mind after the Rebels had beaten them earlier in the season 27-6. To finish the season 20-3 is not a bad season! There are a whole lot of teams that would have liked to have the opportunity to play in the play-offs.
    Seniors Emily Spooner, Molly Mitchell and Holland Abernathy tried to contain the Spain Park QB. While Isa Willey, Kate Fitzpatrick, Emma Kate Jacobs and the rest of the defense were hard at work covering the Jaguar receivers. On offense Layne Turner, center, was working hard to keep the Rebels moving down the field. Lillian Sapp, the field general, keeps everyone focused on the task at hand. Junior QB, Julia Rose was under heavy pressure all night long. After Julia got knocked out of the game Chloe Leahy came in to run the offense. The receiving corps of Callie Davis, Alexis Rubin, Caroline Nintzel, and Molly Mac Sharp found it difficult to get yards through the air or on the ground. It was a tough night!
