The Rebels racked up honors during the first two weekends of February.  The Men's Indoor Track team kicked off 2023 with an AHSAA 7A Runner Up finish at the state meet. During the second weekend of February, the Men's Basketball team won a nail biter over Hoover to capture the 7A Area 5 Championship on Friday night.  On Saturday night, the Rebel Wrestling team qualified 13 wrestlers for the state tournament on their way to a Super Sectional Championship. The Rebel Competition Cheer squad rounded out the weekend with a National Championship for the JV squad and a 6th place finish for the Varsity squad at the UCA Cheer National Championships in Orlando.

Several teams are still competing in AHSAA championship play for our winter sports.  The wrestlers will move on to the AHSAA State Championships Thursday 2/16 through Saturday 2/18.  The Men's and Women's Basketball teams both play in the AHSAA NW Regional on Thursday 2/16 against Bob Jones.
